Do you use a treadmill desk? Valentine thinks they are great cat trees. What do you work on while on it? I managed to double this week's daily average steps by listening to a tutorial at 3k an hour, not fast, but I'm a bit rusty.
I'll try to use it each day now it is set up again.
Calorie consumption, on average, has gone down in recent years or stayed the same, while many people's weight is billowing up, due to their long hours of sedentary behaviour. In the past 20 years, obesity has doubled.
Diet and exercise and not working because they're not part of normal activities. They're not sustainable. Activity needs to be a part of our lifestyle, something that works for us. Something we can continue doing. Something we will not need to quit because we cannot sustain unnatural behaviour. We need to fit incidental exercise, movement into our work, in a way we can enjoy and continued doing.
